Normally it is easy to get a cheap hotel
in Damascus because of many Islam pilgrims, but it is not easy for
wheelchair. Ground floor is restaurant or shop. Second or third
floor is hotel. A kind man helped me to find a hotel. Many effort
needed. A building had an elevator. 3rd floor was hotel. I did not
see the sign outside. Big salon at central. Typical Syria hotel.
Shared bathroom and toilet. Western toilet was so old that I almost
dropped off the floor. I stayed at family room. Single room was 5
US$. Very cheap.

No hotel around bus terminal. One man
riding a bicycle introduced a hotel. He was an artificial leg and a
wheelchair basketball player Before a Japanese came to Syria to
teach wheelchair basketball. He likes Japan. Not good location.
Clean room. Stairs to elevator. Staff helped it.

Many hotel in Palmyra. 3 step at entrance
of this hotel. No problem because Syria people are kind.
Elevator. Clean room. Hotel taken away a small door of bathroom to
pass by wheelchair. Good cost performance. The view of top floor
restaurant was nice.
