alone / 2007 Traffic in Athens is full accessible. Trains are non-step, Elevators at station, Non-step buses, New tram. 2004 Olympic and Paralympic games held in Athens. That is the big reason
Three Metro lines run across the city. It is so convenience. All the Metro stations are accessible. It was easy to go around Athens used by public traffic for wheelchair.
New LRT started since 2004. Accessible transit system.
Athens is so accessible city, but we can see many disabled beggars on street. Ancient Agora. It is possible to see for wheelchairs. Not all but enough. The most famous tourist place " Parthenon temple " is located on the top of hill. I heard a lift for disabled existed, but I could not find. There were a lot of stairs and hill road. Impossible to see Parthenon for wheelchair users.
The temple of Zeus at Olympia. 104 pillars existed in AD129. Now 15 pillars remain. Some consideration about accessibility. I am happy to be here.
Piraeus is just 20 minutes from Athens center by Metro. Nice sea food there.
Greek strong soccer team " Olymiacos Piraeus ". Great red stadium and nice supporters. Wheelchair seats are near the ground. It cost free.
