Goat BBQ with beer. Simple is nice !

Teenagers in Malawi.

So many Japanese second hands car in Malawi and Africa. Hundreds of vans with a lift changed mini bus. They put of the lift and put on tiny seats. Many developing country and the people with disability want cars with a lift, but the cars were sold as a normal taxi use unfortunately.

Sunday church worship

* Mozambique *

Dedza border from Malawi to Mozambique. A bad immigration officer did not allow me to enter Mozambique because I did not have an invitation letter. Of course, I had the Visa and we do not need the letter. He just want money. He said 100 US$, otherwise go back to Malawi. Local boy who change money on this minor border helped me and he went to the boss of immigration. After all, I paid 10 US$ + bad exchange rate.

Another 6 hours by 2 mini bus trip to Tete.

Like this, I use a local bus. Keeping a good seat is always important.

Meals break. I got a fish.

When the bus reached the city Tete, the sunset time is gone. Passengers got off on the road. The bus did not go to the city center. I requested the driver to stop in front of guest house. All dark, I managed to find a guest house. 20 US$.

Next day. Motels photo. You know that I cannot use the shared toilets and shower have stairs and tiny. I must change the hotel.

Unpaved road is hard for me. I do not like sand road.. It is so difficult for wheelchairs to move.

Moved to the city center by 3 wheels motorbike taxi.

Check in 4 star hotel, 130 US$. They have a wheelchair accessible room, but it was used as a storage...

Kind staff and high quality service. Free shuttle to the airport on next day.

Big bridge on Zambezi river.

Nice barbers in Tete. I have already cut my hair in Zambia. I wanted to cut here.

Hotel in city center. They have a ramp !

Tete city. Their economy seems very good.

Very big avocado in market.

Mozambique was a colony of Portugal. They speak Portuguese and have Portuguese food. Do not forget eating a egg tart.

I passed the bride by walk to look for Baobab trees on east bank of Tete.

Many Baobab trees in Tete suburb. I was so happy to see around amazing big trees.

Back to city center. Nice walk in a day.

Final dinner of my 2 weeks travel in southern Africa. Chiken, salada and fufu.
