International beach resort Phurket island, easy access to Patong Beach by wheelchair. Thai beach boys are so helpful. Wheelchair users also can enjoy many activity here. I enjoyed elephant riding and ATV 1 hour in the mountain.

Bangkok airport. Many wheelchair accessible toilets. My first visit to Thailand was 1997. Year by year the accessibility is getting better and better.

 

This mark gas stands have a wheelchair toilet. Thai wheelchair users all know and use it.

 

Airport Link which connect between airport and central Bangkok. All the stations have elevators. 

 

2 cm gap between platform and trains made in Germany.

In Bangkok, normally train staff always follow a wheelchair passengers and help them.

 

Connecting station to MRT subway. Wheelchair accessible over pass and lifts to platform.

MRT Bangkok was build in 2004 supported by Japanese government. It is wheelchair accessible. Today there are multiple elevators at each station. 

Easy to pay the tickets with the vendor which has a flat screeen. 

Wide platform. Stairs, escalators and a lift.

Exits have many stairs and build  higher because of many rain.

Problem is outside. Many cars and bikes on wide roads. Narrow pedestrian with many gap. It is not easy to walk on Bangkok street on wheelchair. Be careful. 

Sightseeing with friends. Royal Palace. Many ramp inside.

 

Wat Pho is famous for sleeping Buddha.

 

Many ramps inside Wat Pho. I was so happy to see around.

Thailand temples were school. Wat Pho still has a school. They are cute.

Boat to Wat Arun. My friends and some tourists carried my wheelchair up and down.

Night dinner cruise in the river. Wheelchair accessible peer.

Thai sea food BBQ and sweets. I like Mango and sticky rice !

Ayutthaya old capital in 1357-1767.

A polio Thai sells ice creams on his motorbike with a side seat in front of Ayutthaya ruins. Good 3 wheels motorbike for person with mobility impairment.

Bangkok night is so fan. We visited a famous show " Calypso ".  All men show. Many beautiful transgender. Both right and left side on front seats are wheelchair space. We can see many gays and transgender at night clubs in Bangkok.

My Thai wheelchair friend took me to Samphran Elephant Ground & Zoo by his private car.

Strange color noodle lunch. Sweet rice pudding.

Crocodile show. 

 

I was very happy to find the park had wheelchair accessible toilets.

Wheelchair accessible toilet at this temple. Government made this toilet because we visited there.

excellent 5 star hotel " Siam Kempinski Hotel " during the conference as VIP guest of Thai Tourism minsitry. I stayed #115 accessible room. It was not perfect, but so gorgeous.

 

" AVANI Kohn Kaen Hotel " had also wheelchair accessible rooms. Thai accessibility changed better and better.

Thai cuisine. 1st time to visit Thailand as VIP guest. Always food stall on street in my private trip, but this time I enjoyed luxury restaurant during UNWTO conference. Ministers and senior government officials on the same table. .

Main conference day lunch at 5 star Siam Kempinski Hotel dining. Thai and French fusion cuisine.
